Hog Heaven

For Valentines Day Ron asked me if I wanted to go out to dinner. I was craving a good steak and there is no such thing near where we live so I did an Internet search for the surrounding area. I found this place in New Philadelphia which is approx. 45 miles away. When we got there the parking lot was crowded but lucked out as a truck pulled out right next to the front door! Tons of peeps inside so we put our name in and went to the bar area, we stood there a couple minutes and two people got up and left so we got to sit at the bar. I had a glass of Merlot and Ron had (of course) a beer. Met some very nice fun people that were eating at the bar. One guy had the Pork Chops and they looked wonderful nice and thick. Another lady was having the pulled pork sandwich oh yum, her husband had something that had a giant pile of mashed potatoes with gravy so big I couldn't tell what meat he had lol. We finally got our table and I talked Ron into getting the "Prehistoric Hog Eggs" which are hard boiled eggs rolled in beer batter and deep fried to a golden crisp served with Wing sauce...might sound strange but OH My they were Tasty! We both got the Prime Rib dinner with Au Jus and a special "Tiger Sauce", Ron had loaded potato and baked beans, I had loaded potato and black beans (had to have something good for me right lol) The dinner was very good and totally satisfied my red meat craving for a while. I can't wait to go back when the weather is warm to sit outside on the Tiki bar area. So if you are ever in the New Phili, Dover or Canton area be sure to stop in and grab lunch or dinner you won't be disappointed!
